I think I might have found my answer. A ratio of 3 minutes running and 50 seconds of walking. I tried this tonight at the track workout and it felt good. I tried to keep a equal pace while running but as I continued I kept getting faster. It just felt great. I have got to learn to pace myself for 26.2 miles. I have just got to keep looking at the watch and listening to my body.
Distance = 8 miles
Time = 1:28:29
Pace = 11.06
This is what I wanted to find out tonight. I am very glad to see the results. My PR = 11.46 pace and a sub 5 = 11.26 pace. I just hope to be able to PACE myself and not get crazy at King Burger LOL.
I am off to shower and put this big head to bed.
